This is the first cat feeder I have purchased, and I love it. My cat loves it too. The instructions I received were very clear to understand and also had pictures to help you, yes it is military’s time set, which is not really difficult to set, and I understand meal 1 = 5grams of food, on my cats bag of food it converts for me so no problem there. I love how I can set it 4 times and give cat either 1 0r 2 portions, you can also give her a portion or two manually too by just keeping your finger a few seconds on the manual button. The recording was easy and my cats runs when she hears it. Easy to clean, and you can easily work out from portion sizes how and when to refill, again that’s easy too remove for refill. I put battery’s in it for backup, and use power on.
